Maya Character Animation
This is a character animation I did in Maya. The animation was done for The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency's (DARPA) and integrated into a proposal seeking funding for an ambitious development program that would eventually see the deployment of autonomous casualty retrieval and surgical robots that will accompany US troops in future urban combat environments.
The portions I worked on were:
Optimizing the human character models for rigging
Rigging the human characters
Skeletal deformation for the human characters
Animating the human characters
The robot animation, surgery animation, texturing and rendering were done by Robert Cole.
